About this position

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and mobile application testing. This is a remote role requiring hands-on experience in automation testing across web and mobile platforms (Android/iOS). The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of TypeScript, API testing, and JSON validation, along with the ability to collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure high product quality.

Roles & Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and maintain functional and end-to-end automated tests using Playwright.
    • Perform mobile application testing for Android and iOS, validating user flows, UI behavior, and backend integrations.
    • Test mobile-responsive and mobile web interfaces to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
    • Evaluate test coverage, identify edge cases, and validate complex user journeys.
    • Perform API testing and validate API interactions across web and mobile applications.
    • Analyze JSON payloads, API responses, logs, and configuration files to identify functional and data-related issues.
    • Translate business and technical requirements into comprehensive test cases and automation suites.
    • Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to debug issues and improve product quality.
    • Ensure overall application stability, performance, and consistency across platforms.

Good to Have Skills

    • Understanding of React application architecture and component behavior.
    • Experience testing state management and UI interactions in modern frontend frameworks.
    • Knowledge of mobile-responsive web testing strategies.
    • Experience working in Agile environments.
    • Strong debugging and analytical skills.

Qualifications

    • 4–6 years of experience in software testing and automation.
    • Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for web automation.
    • Proven experience in mobile app testing (Android/iOS).
    • Solid understanding of React and TypeScript-based applications.
    • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
